Once upon a time...
...a mountain man attended a University. He studied law and experienced life at high altitudes. The mountains were the Natal Drakensberg, the man was me. I used to hike with one or two close friends at 3,000 metres above sea level for days at a time carrying a 30 kilogram pack on my back. Myself, Ab, Craig, Nicholas and Philip used to sleep in caves and in tents. Snow, rain, wind, sunshine and clouds. Nothing stopped us from reaching our destination and not even hypothermia or being trapped in a snow storm could stop us from living.
Nowadays, my life has changed. Life is still for living but just the environment has changed. Shoulderbags have replaced the backpack and cityscapes have replaced the landscapes. That I guess is just a consequence of age.
I hope you enjoy what I have done so far. They are all I have to share with friends who were not in the city I live in.
